E-commerce and marketplace e-commerce store and multi-vendor marketplace

We build D2C stores, B2B ordering portals and marketplaces where many sellers list products and the platform handles payments, commission and settlement. The work that decides success is usually behind the storefront: catalogue, inventory sync, COD reconciliation, returns and seller payouts.

Build, buy or both

For most D2C brands Shopify, with Indian payment and shipping apps, is the right answer, and it will be cheaper than custom for years. WooCommerce suits teams already on WordPress. Our own ShopenUp platform is another option. Custom pays off for multi-vendor marketplaces with commission, seller settlement and tax collection rules, for B2B portals with negotiated pricing and credit, for sectors with regulatory checks (pharmacy, agri inputs), or when Shopify app fees and transaction charges grow large at your volume. Headless builds, a custom frontend on Shopify's back end, are a sensible middle path.

Questions

E-commerce and marketplace: common questions

Should we build or use Shopify?

If you sell your own products to consumers, start on Shopify. Come back to us when you need a marketplace, B2B pricing, or a custom feature the app store cannot provide.

How are seller payouts and taxes handled?

The platform calculates commission, collects TCS under GST and deducts TDS under Section 194-O where it applies, then produces payout files and statements for each seller.

Can it sync with Amazon and Flipkart?

Yes, usually through an order management tool such as Unicommerce or directly through the marketplace APIs, so stock stays consistent across channels.
