Responsible AI statement
Last updated 9 October 2026
AI is now part of almost everything we build. These are the rules we follow.
Useful before impressive
We choose AI use cases by the value they create in daily work and the risks they carry.
People stay in control
Actions that matter go to a person for approval until evidence shows they are safe to automate. Every AI system we build has a clear human owner.
Data respect
Client data is never used to train public models. Where data is sensitive, we run models inside the client's own environment.
Measured, not assumed
Every system has an evaluation set, agreed success measures and monitoring after launch. When quality drops, we fix it or switch it off.
Transparency about AI
People should know when they are interacting with an AI. Colony, the guide on this website, says so clearly. Answers cite their sources wherever possible.
Security
We test AI systems for prompt injection, data leakage and misuse of tools before launch, and keep those tests running.
Compliance
We design with the DPDP Act, GDPR, the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework in mind, and work with the client's legal team on how they apply.
