Telecom

Field jobs and billing for ISPs and tower companies. Telecom runs on networks that never switch off, large field teams and millions of small transactions. Operators have OSS and BSS stacks from large vendors, but regional ISPs, tower companies and their partners often manage installs, faults and billing across several tools. Software fits around those stacks: field work, self-care, partner channels and the data operations teams need to act on.

The pressure points

What slows telecom teams down

Tickets and field work in separate tools
A customer fault is logged in one system, dispatched over WhatsApp and closed in a spreadsheet. Nobody can see the real time to restore.
Billing disputes take weeks
Plan changes, prorated charges and failed auto-debits lead to disputes that need someone to rebuild the bill by hand.
Network data that operations cannot use
Alarms and performance counters live in the NMS. Operations and management get a daily export and little else.
Partner channels are hard to manage
Franchisees, resellers and local cable operators sell and service customers, but commissions and stock of CPE are tracked loosely.

Built for this sector

Systems specific to telecom

The work that generic software does not cover, and where most of the value sits.

OSS and BSS integration layer
APIs that connect provisioning, inventory, mediation and billing so an order activates without manual steps.
Fibre network inventory
Routes, splitters, ports and customer drops on a map, so planners know capacity and engineers know where to go.
Site energy management
Grid, DG and battery hours per tower site, fuel consumption and theft alerts.
Number and KYC workflows
Customer acquisition forms, document checks and record keeping in line with DoT KYC instructions.

Where AI helps

AI use cases with a clear return

  1. Customer support agent

Handles plan changes, bill queries and outage questions on WhatsApp and chat, checking the network status for the customer's area.

Call volumes drop during outages because customers already have an answer

  2. Fault prediction from alarms

Learns which alarm patterns come before site outages or link failures and flags sites for preventive visits.

More faults fixed before customers notice

  3. Churn signals

Combines usage drops, complaints, payment delays and speed test results to score churn risk.

Retention offers reach customers before they port out

  4. Engineer dispatch

Suggests the engineer for each job by skill, location, spare parts in the van and SLA.

More jobs closed per engineer per day

  5. Ticket summarisation

Summarises long ticket histories and call notes for the next agent or engineer.

Customers do not have to repeat themselves

Before you start

Telecom: common questions

Do you replace our BSS or OSS?

For large operators, no. We build around them. Regional ISPs sometimes need a lighter billing and provisioning system, and we can build that.

Can customers report faults on WhatsApp?

Yes. The WhatsApp flow checks the account, runs basic line checks where your systems allow, opens a ticket and sends updates as the engineer moves.

How do you deal with TRAI reporting?

We capture the timestamps and categories TRAI quality of service and complaint reports need, so the reports come straight from system data.
