LegalTech

Matter, document and deadline systems for law firms and in-house legal teams. Legal work is a stream of matters, each with documents, hearings, deadlines and time to bill, and a single missed date can cost a client their case. In India that means cause lists, district and high court portals, stamp duty and a great deal of paper. Software helps most where it keeps the diary right, finds the clause fast and keeps confidential files locked down.

The pressure points

What slows legaltech teams down

Deadlines kept in diaries
Hearing dates, limitation periods and filing deadlines are copied from cause lists into diaries and Excel by juniors. A single slip can go unnoticed until the date has passed.
Knowledge locked in old files
The firm has drafted a hundred share purchase agreements, but finding the right precedent means asking the partner who remembers it.
Unbilled time leaks away
Time is recorded at month end from memory, so work is under-billed and invoices go out late.
Confidentiality limits tooling
Client files cannot sit in a consumer AI tool or an unvetted cloud. Any system needs ethical walls, access logs and data residency choices.

Built for this sector

Systems specific to legaltech

The work that generic software does not cover, and where most of the value sits.

Cause list and court tracker
Pulls daily cause lists and case status from court portals, matches them to your matters and alerts the right associate.
Contract lifecycle management
Request, draft from clause library, negotiate with redlines, approve, e-sign, store and track renewal and obligation dates.
Conflict check
New matter intake checks parties and related entities against existing and past clients before the engagement letter goes out.
Clause library
Approved clauses with fallback positions and notes on when each applies, maintained by the knowledge team.

Where AI helps

AI use cases with a clear return

  1. Contract review with citations

An assistant reads an incoming contract against your playbook and lists deviations, each tied to the exact clause it found.

First review finishes sooner and the lawyer checks every flag against the source

  2. Research over your own files

Ask questions across past opinions, briefs and judgments the firm holds. Answers cite the document and paragraph.

Juniors find relevant precedent without waiting for a partner

  3. Obligation extraction

Payment dates, notice periods, renewal windows and indemnity caps pulled from signed contracts into a tracker.

Renewals and notice periods stop being missed

  4. Matter intake agent

Reads the client email, drafts the intake form, runs the conflict check and proposes a team for partner approval.

New matters open the same day

  5. Time entry drafting

Drafts time entries from calendar, email and document activity for the lawyer to correct and submit.

Less time lost to end of month reconstruction

Before you start

LegalTech: common questions

Will our client documents be used to train an AI model?

No. We use enterprise model endpoints that do not train on your data, or a model hosted in your own cloud account. Access is limited by matter and logged.

Can the system read court portals automatically?

Where court portals publish case status and cause lists, we fetch and match them to your matters. Some portals change often, so we build alerts that tell you when a fetch fails.

Is AI contract review accurate enough to rely on?

It is a fast first pass. Every flag links to the clause, and a lawyer approves the review. We measure it against your own past reviews before you rely on it.
